Research indicates that the greatest predictor of longevity is the amount of socialization and connectedness one has. This group provides it with no pressure except being able to enjoy a cup of tea and chat about anything that comes up. In addition to meeting weekly on Tuesdays at 2pm, once a month they meet at a restaurant, democratically chosen by the group and decided at the previous Tuesday's get to-gether. All are welcome. There is a $10 annual fee to cover the cost of purchasing birthday cakes to celebrate members' birthdays.
