What an incredible event and what a display of community togetherness. No one says it better than resident Sherrie Powell to quote "During that awful week, I was so blessed by my neighbours....Many came to help with getting my generator working, and so many of them helped by coming and using their chain saws to cut up some of my damaged trees. It really showed me how our community is always there for one another. I love living here at Bayshore Village.".
This story and many similar such as running extension cords from one house to another to keep sump pumps running is repeated many times. It speaks volumes as to what a great community Bayshore Village truly is.
