As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, additional guidelines designed to ensure maximum safety and equitable use will be in place as follows:
POOL RULES
-Rules are subject to change based on health unit guidelines and behaviour/observation of pool users
-Social distancing to be maintained and enforced
-Pool chairs are not to be moved. Additional chairs are not to be added
-Pool enclosure initially limited to 8+ attendant. Lifeguard/attendant has full authority to increase or limit capacity.
With time and observation, we may be able to increase capacity based on user behaviour and observation
-Pool hours 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. 7 days a week
-Pool to be attended by Joseph Torchia- National Lifeguard (5 days a week) and Franchi Torchia- Pool attendant (2 days a week)
to monitor social distancing, perform water testing and periodic cleaning
-Aqua-fit and adult only swim times to be cancelled for 2020
-Pool to be closed for approximately 5-10 minutes at the top and bottom of every hour for cleaning if additional users are waiting to enter
All pool users will be asked to exit the enclosure. Guests waiting to enter the pool will have priority access to enter the pool at the top/bottom of the hour. Time segments may be extended as required. Equitable use will be considered and additional tools to manage the queue may become necessary
-Restrooms and shower will not be available. We ask that you plan accordingly
-Pool users will be asked to register with the attendant upon entry, providing their name and phone number for contact tracing purposes
