Greetings Bayshore Golfers
The end of the summer season brings with it, our annual competition of the Ryder Cup. We will continue with many of our traditional rituals, as well as trying out some new ones, to bring you the best experience on this most enjoyable day.
Ticket sales were at The Hayloft on Thurs Aug 24 7-8 PM and Sun Aug 27 12-1 PM. Your $10 registration fee will treat you to morning coffee, lunch, hot dinner, desert, golf and more fun and banter than ever. Registration is limited to 72 Golfers. Others are welcome to join us for dinner only. Once our final numbers are established, we spend tireless hours using algorithms and fancy computer programs developing intriguing and competitive matches between the traditional Red vs Blue Team. If however, you have an old score to settle, you are welcome to request a specific challenge or match-up at registration. The competition utilizes a Doubles Match Play format of Scramble (or Best-Ball) and the “relationship-testing” Alternate Shot.
This year we are trying something new and hopefully memorable.
Previously hosted tournaments have seen a “backlog” of golfers waiting up to 30 minutes to tee off at holes 4, 8 & 9. This area will now host the “Party Zone” ! We will Caddy out your personal coolers in our beverage cart to await your arrival. Bring your Toonies on this day as the Host/ Hostess at the Party Zone will be orchestrating some gaming action which may enable you to win huge cash prizes. Music will be playing and perhaps spontaneous dancing could even break out.
After the golf, we gather at 5:30 at the Hayloft for our Team Pictures before enjoying our Dinner at 6:00 and the announcement of the winning team.
