News - Update on STR Adhoc Committee

Many of you showed your support at Ramara Township’s Committee Of the Whole (COW) meeting on Monday January 21, 2019 by attending in impressive numbers at your Board’s request. Unfortunately at the end of Corinne Ingall‘s presentation, a man strongly opposed the proposed temporary Bylaw restricting Short Term Rentals until a permanent decision can be made and plans to refute the proposed temporary Bylaw. This Bylaw would incorporate strict guidelines to protect property owners. Mayor Clarke suggested that this man make a deputation at the next Ramara Township Council meeting.
It is essential that we as a community support our position and the Mayor’s position by attending this meeting.
It seems that the numbers of interested Ratepayers definitely makes a difference.
It is crucial that we stand together and attend.
More information regarding the date and time will be emailed to all BVA members.
We are hoping that you will support your community by attending.
Thank-you,
Bayshore Village Association
