In early August, the Nominations Committee published a list of positions that were up for election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and notified the Village that the positions were open for nomination. At 3 weeks prior to the AGM, the slate of candidates was published. At the AGM, the positions below were provisionally acclaimed. The reason for provisionally acclaiming the positions is that while there were no challengers prior to the AGM, our bylaws allow for nominations from the floor. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we were unable to have a meeting in person to allow for these nominations. Instead, we announced that we would immediately open all of the positions that were provisionally acclaimed, so that we could accept nominations from any member of the Village that wished to challenge for one of the positions listed.

Director of Hayloft Rod Turnbull (acting, requires confirmation)
Director of Architecture Jeff Nolan (acting, requires confirmation)
In an email to the Village, we indicated that the Board was accepting nominations for any of the listed positions and that the nominations would be open until October 5th with an election to be held on October 15th if new candidates came forward. There were no candidates that came forward in the allotted time period, so there will be no election. The positions above that were previously provisionally acclaimed are now confirmed and are official members of the Board of Directors of Bayshore Village Association.
