The Editor role is a rewarding and important one. Potential editors should have some experience with desktop publishing and foundational computer skills. Training and support will be made available to allow the new editor to become comfortable in their new role.
Recruitment for a new editor has been underway for some time already but has been unsuccessful. Failure to secure a new editor by the end of the calendar year will result in the final edition being published in Spring 2021. The Board of Directors is very open to new Banner ideas regarding content, frequency and delivery mediums.
The Bayshore Banner is a treasured part of the community's culture and it would be unfortunate if it were not preserved.
